SightRight – 35 Titles, 2 World Champions, a World No 1 & World No 3

Stephen enjoyed growing exposure through the successes of Stuart Bingham, with whom he worked for 5 years (2011 – 2016) winning 9 titles from 13 Finals.

In 2015 Bingham became Stephen’s first ‘SightRight’ World Champion. Martin Gould, who has been part of Stephen’s SightRight Team since 2013, has lifted 5 titles from 8 Finals, including the 2016 German Masters and is 2x Winner of the prestigious Championship League.

Mark Williams, considering retirement, joined Stephens Coaching Stable in June 2017. Only a few months after enlisting his help he won the 2017 Sangsom World 6 Red Championship and has since won a further 4 Titles, including his 3rd World Title in 2018, 15 years after his 2nd Crucible victory. Mark is now back up to World No 3.

Ronnie O’Sullivan joined Stephen at the start of the 2018/19 Season and, despite a reduced schedule, won 5 Tournaments (+ 2 Finals), set 3 new World Records – 19 Majors, a 7th UK Championship, 1,000 Centuries and equalled Stephen Hendry’s 36 Ranking Titles, rocketing him up to World No 1.

Shaun Murphy, 2005 World Champion and Triple Crown Holder, won the 2017 Champion of Champions and reached 4 other Finals in the Season he worked with Stephen. Matt Selt enjoyed success in his first Season with Stephen, winning the 2019 Indian Open.

David Gilbert, also in his first Season with Stephen, reached 2 Finals (2018 World Open & 2019 German Masters), the Semi Final of the 2019 World Championship and for the first time in his career is now in the Top 16 at World No 12.

BBC Snooker, ITV4 & Eurosport have run recent coaching features on Stephen’s SightRight Coaching on the World Snooker Tour, having now coached 2 World Champions and enjoying amazing success with Mark Williams and Ronnie O’Sullivan.
