Sophie Gibbs-Nicholls
I am a Chartered Sport Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) – the regulatory body for Psychologists in the UK.
I have an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology, an MSc in Psychology and am a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA England) and a senior lecturer at Plymouth Marjon University. I have competed at International level since 2015 as part of the England Ladies pool team and have worked with individuals and teams in a number of different sports. These include snooker, pool, darts, rugby, swimming, fencing, basketball, football and surfing.
My approach to working with clients focuses on promoting their self-development and working towards personal goals. The support I provide is confidential, meaning that clients have a safe space to optimise both wellbeing and performance.
